CALYPSO is a modern day re-imagination of the fifth chapter of Homer's Odyssey telling the story of the 7 years Calypso kept Ulysses prisoner on the island of Ogygia. When Ulysses, a soldier struggling with PTSD, wakes up without memory of himself in a post apocalyptic desert island, a shamanic Calypso tries to help him recover from the brutality of 10 years of war and suffering. As Calypso enchants and seduces Ulysses with stories of their past together, his memories emerge. In search for truth he soon comes to wish for circumstances to change. In an eternal loop of love and obsession Calypso will soon reveal if she is saving Ulysses or keeping him captive.
